2020 by Yuri Catania. It is a tribute to the city of Marfa, Texas; the place where the author has discovered and experienced the “frontier” America in the most rarefied and dusty aesthetic sense of the word. The portrayed light was experienced as a unique experimentation, almost mystical in photographic terms.

To lose oneself in a dream and discover that this dream is reality. Captivating shots, instinctive, contemporary, and authentic photography that speaks directly to the heart without intermediaries.

This is "No Fashion Places," the personal research journey of Yuri Catania, born from the need to take a path away from the fashion spotlight, where he has worked as a photographer and videomaker for over 13 years.

The exhibition features 313 photographic works in tribute to the United States, where the author is traveling aboard an Airstream to capture places forgotten by their marked origins and now devoured by globalization. It's a sort of melancholic narrative where vividly colored snapshots alternate with faded images of desolate landscapes. The notes are decadent, tied together with a subtle irony that speaks of a country with stark social contrasts.

The exhibit is immersed in a dreamlike dimension. Moments of lived life and experienced sensations flow before the eyes, resulting in a spontaneous, intimate, and human outcome, simply emotional.
