FULL BIOGRAPHY
Yuri Catania is a Swiss-Italian visual artist,
born in Milan in 1975.
After studying Industrial Design at the Politecnico di Milano, he began his career in 2005 as a fashion photographer and director, collaborating with iconic magazines such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Numéro, Elle, and GQ.
Over the years, Catania has developed a personal artistic language that merges photography, street art, and hand-painting techniques. His work often extends into public and architectural spaces, using sustainable materials like paper and glue — and integrating augmented reality.
Since 2013, he has lived and worked in Rovio Val Mara, a small village in the Swiss-Italian Alps, where he found inspiration in wild nature and built his creative atelier, CasaGalleria.ART. Surrounded by wild nature, he creates artworks that explore the emotional tension between humanity, nature, and technology.
His motto:
"Art will save the world."

From the fashion runways of Milan to large-scale murals in Switzerland, Yuri Catania merges analog and digital worlds — creating emotional dialogues between humanity, nature, and technology.
