"Yuri in Wonderland: Moon Flower Mission," is a journey that explores the duality between the infinitely large and the infinitely small, between cosmic vastness and the minutiae of detail. Using aluminum panels as canvas, Catania crafts textured lunar landscapes, evoking craters and roughness through a gypsum-based compound.

At the heart of these cosmic landscapes, a surprisingly minute detail captures attention: an astronaut in grayscale, no larger than a thumb, accompanied by giant flowers like the dahlia. It's an image that reflects our relationship with the infinite and the unknown, but also with the everyday and the familiar, represented by the flower.

The relationship between the astronaut and the flower evokes the figure of The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, suggesting a meditation on loneliness, connection, and our place in the universe. In an era where humanity strives to explore boundless space, Catania reminds us of the beauty and fragility of our earthly existence and our interconnectedness with nature.
